But Will Your Parents Play?

Having been out of the gaming loop since say, October, I was fascinated by a conversation I had with my Aunt and Uncle at a recent holiday gathering, where they recounted their experiences with Nintendo's Wii. I just had to write about it. My latest article at The Cultural Gutter explains how Nintendo is changing the face of gaming.

What is this place?
Tales of a Scorched Earth is a weblog devoted to the review of video games and game culture, but easily integrates other forms of consumable media. Here you will find opinions on games that you could probably do without, but are going to read anyway. Updated at least once a week, but more if I'm feeling particularly inspired.
